We Were the Problem
Royce Neubauer, the founder of Auto Hauler Exchange, has over 24 years of experience as a freight broker across various industries. In 2020, he launched a vehicle division within his brokerage that grew quickly. However, Royce noticed a significant challenge in vehicle logistics: it was the most fragmented and disjointed sector he’d ever worked in.
He began talking to dealers, OEMs, and remarketers about their difficulties in moving vehicles efficiently. The consistent response was that they struggled to find enough carriers. On the other hand, when he spoke to carriers, they reported difficulties finding opportunities and driving with empty space on their trucks every day.
Royce realized the problem in vehicle logistics causing all the fragmentation is the broker keeping carriers and shippers from communicating.
Royce decided to close his vehicle logistics division and create Auto Hauler Exchange — a groundbreaking marketplace that enables direct collaboration between carriers and shippers, eliminating the need for brokers. Within just a few months, over 40 dealers joined the platform, alongside thousands of carriers.
Since then, Auto Hauler Exchange has experienced rapid growth nationwide, as shippers and carriers recognize the advantages of bypassing brokers and collaborating directly through The Exchange.

We want to give the control back to the carrier to allow them to fill their trucks as they see fit, while connecting them directly with the shipper and cutting out the middleman. Our Green Initiative
Going digital helps reduce the carbon footprint in the environment in multiple ways, from minimizing gas emissions and wear-and-tear on the roads to saving trees and protecting waterways from runoff.
As a result of our digital model, we reduce empty miles driven by auto haulers immensely as well as maximize truck capacity, both of which lower emissions.
AHX can track which carriers and how many shipments are being moved on lower emission, or electric trucks, to help facilitate our partners’ green initiatives.
We push electronic BOLs, inspection reports, and proofs of delivery to facilitate our partners’ green initiatives. Furthermore, we digitize and create paperless billing and payments to further protect our environment.
